I developed this for my carpentry crew to allow them to simple mathematical operations on measurements from you tape measure without converting to decimal and then back again.

You will have less chance for errors if the step of converting back and forth from decimal is taken away.

Keep working with feet and inches and fractions or meters, centimeters and millimeters.

A feet and and inch calculator makes things much easier in the field.
